I watched your youtube stuff on last years.

How much money did you Spend there (not incl accommodation and tickets) and how much are you taking this year?

I don't normally spend alot on magic items. Last year I spent about £150/£200... and I intend to spend no more than that this year! But you never know? Something might take my fancy thats a bit expensive! - Hope that helps! -Matt Parro

Hi,
Last year I probably spent 200, much better than the first year I was there, I was like a kid in a candy store, I spent a fourtune! Soooo many dealers, gotta love it. For the last couple of years I spend a lot of my spare time working on Mel Harvey's stand to save me spending more :)

Cheers for the replies, it's my first time at Blackpool this year and I anticipate loads of drinking and loads of shopping.

There's not a lot i think I'll buy but was worried about it costing £800 or something, I was thinking nearer £300 all in

Cheers guys, should be good and I look forward to reading about it from your experiences

I'll say what everyone else thinks...
a load of magic dealers selling the same things for stupid prices,
As some say your buying the trick not the prop!
For God sake, over 2000 magicians and non know how the bloody trick works!!!
for for f*^5 sake!!!

reading some of the pat on the back reviews of blackpool were these people at the same convention
the sunday gala show was the weakest it has been for at least ten years the least said about the saturday night show the better
the acts appearing at the after show party outdid most of the acts at the gala show now that is off my chest blackpool is still the best magic convention and thankx once again to derek lever and team
for putting all the hard work in to give us this.

somthing i forgot to mention sometines at blackpool years later people are still taking about an item in the gala show like kevin james act verticle sawing in half when the top half jumped down into the pit then back up on stage again
and the show ended leaving everyone to come to there own conclusions this year we have fukai
and tie a yellow ribbon with you want won more
this might explane the qulity of the shows
